At your service.

This is my third year in the healthcare industry.
I've met a number of patients.
Some of them are still living to date. Others had been called early.
Some of them have become friends. Others were discharged and forgotten.

Nevertheless, those who survived the big C are bound to return to give us a visit.
I am not so thrilled with it.

I jokingly tell my patients that I want them to go home soon.
I don't want them to stay longer than 3 days.

I often tell them to take care of themselves.

They are immuno-compromised after the treatment.
I do not want delays for their next session just because of the complications.

Many times, I see them wallowing over their condition.
But in very special moments, they acknowledge God's miracle through you.

It is never my design to work with these patients.
Yet, He placed me here for a purpose even I cannot fathom til this time.

Mission: KIKAY KIT

I am currently completing a simple kit that will definitely come handy. It is for my sister. Now that she is in her second year (or is it third year?) and will soon leave town for the psychia-thingy in Cebu, these items will save some dime for her. I never received any kit before and it takes a lot of time and money completing a set such as this.

(Make up pouch, deodorant, breath freshener, paper soap, mouthwash, blush, lip gloss, comb, clip, tie, dual mirror, lotion, face cream, sunscreen, wet wipes, tissue, cotton buds, feminine pad)

Not much though. I know. But at this time, these items will suffice. Eventually, she'll learn how to save and add stuffs that will meet her needs. Uhm.. The fact is, I have a lot of stuffs in mind I should have purchased (unfortunately, I am still saving and paying for my CC :P).

My sister doesn't know I am maintaining this blog. By the time I go home in June, she'll know.

Good Evening

Help. I am in dire need of your prayers and understanding. Soon, I'll be posting on my blog my problems. Who cares? After all, Nobody's reading this blog. Hahahaha!!! This is my diary. This is my escape from the cruel reality.

SoS File 1: I have cough. It's already a week on the making. I'm waiting to have this ripened (yuuum..euck!!!!)

SoS FIle 2: Ring Worm. I don't have to explain about this!!!!

Rx File 3: I have indicated the Rx thingy b'coz the doctor had prescribed medication on this - hypocalcemia + anemia.

SoS File 4: Pruritic Ani. This is serious!!! I am self-diagnosing my self and i am so worried right now.

SoS File 5: Painful thumb early in the morning. Now, I wonder if this the price I pay after all the "gaga" things I have done in the past.

Please understand. I have been crazy but I am repenting. I have done almost anything to satisfy my curiosity and had burned myself. After all those things, I finally found my peace (say, temporary stability, for now...hope to last!) and decided I want that, I want him and the future that we can create together. I have lied and I am ready to confess...

So help me God.

Good Morning

4:30
hehehe....fancy me. i am still dreaming when the "dawn rosary" people came along. i woke up and receive the virgin Mary together with my aunt and cousin (while my sis and niece are still sleeping in the sala). Anyway, after the very short prayer, i decided to go back to sleep..hmmm.. after going the cr.

I was seeing everything through pain. I would roll out of bed and do my
exercises. I had to do that to work out the remainder of the pain pills. I would
drink coffee and go to the set and plunge myself so far into my work.

This is a photo taken during the in-house review. Believe me! Those books were props. ^^

Tuesdays with Morrie

1. Accept what you are able to do and what you are not able to do.
2. Accept the past as past, without denying it or discarding it.
3. Learn to forgive yourself and to forgive others.
4. Don’t assume that it’s too late to get involved.

Death should not be embarrassing.
Try to live with dignity, with courage, with humor, composure
Life is series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing but you are bound to do something else.

Something hurt you but you know it shouldn’t
You take certain things for granted, even when you k now you should never take anything for granted.

Love wins. It always wins.

The culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. And you have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn’t work, don’t bury it

So may people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half asleep, even when they’re doing things they think important. This is because they are chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.
